The 3 Days Wildlife safari to Lake Mburo National Park, a savanna gem of a park, conveniently located on the western highway that connects Kampala to the other national parks of western Uganda. Though the park is just 370km2 in size, the park offers exclusive game viewing and bird watching with African Birding Journeys. On the tour through the park, you’ll pass gallery forests, open Savannah and acacia woodlands, rock kopjes, seasonal and permanent swamps, and open water, as you search for the wealth of wildlife found in this park. Unique wildlife in the park include impala, Burch ell’s zebra, and eland that are not found elsewhere in western Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo.
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel by the drive/guide and set off southwestern wards to Lake Mburo National park, one of the smallest national parks in Uganda, but with lots of fauna and flora. You will view several game enroute to the park like zebras,Oribis, Defassa, waterbucks, Bohor reedbuck, impalas, elands and others. Drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.Day 2: Game drive and guided nature walk.
In the morning, you will go for morning game drive to catch up with early risers. Then return to the lodge for breakfast before going for nature walk guided by the park ranger. See animals lick salt at salt lick area which is strategically located with an observation point. You will see animals like the zebras, impala, antelopes come and lick the salt at the wooden boards. In the afternoon, you will visit the Kings’ tombs in Nkokonjeru, and get entertained at the cultural center where you will learn much about the different Ugandan cultures. Dinner and overnight.Day 3: Return for Kampala
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will set off for the journey back to Kampala, with stop over at the equator for photography, mpabire drum makers to see how the traditional drums are made. Reach Kampala, and check in your hotel or transfer to the airport for your outbound flight if it is on schedule.End of Safari
