3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari
The 3 Days Gorilla safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to one of Africa's best gorilla safari destinations. This is a home to half of world's remaining population of mountain gorillas. The major activities include mountain gorilla trekking and cultural walk to Batwa people (Pygmies). Besides the endangered mountain gorillas, the main attraction in the forest, there are 346 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies. In terms of flora, there are 324 tree species here, 10 of which are found nowhere else in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart to Bwindi Gorilla park
Have breakfast and hit the road to Bwindi home of gorillas. Heve lunch enroute in Mbarara Town, Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Lodge (Superior), Gorilla Safari Lodge( Mid-Class), Buhoma community rest camp (Budget)
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure – Batwa cultural walk
Wake up for heavy breakfast and assemble at park head quarters for a 30 minutes briefing. Gorilla trekking takes 2-8 hours depending on their movements. The hike goes through steep and slippery jungle grounds before encountering gorillas camouflaged in dense vegetation. However, the thrill you get is worth the effort put in searching for them. Sight and stay with gorillas is 1 hours, descent to the lodge for lunch.
Time permitting, enjoy an evening cultural walk to Batwa people (pygmies), dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Departure
Have breakfast and start a picnic drive back to Kampala with en-route stop at the Equator for photographs.
